This camera utilizes a 1/3" Sony CCD with a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) that offers crisp, clear, state of the art imaging, a built-in Auto Electronic Shutter with Internal IRIS that automatically adjusts to light changes, a Backlight Compensation feature (BLC) and all virtually achieve the impossible in low light conditions for a camera that doesn't include Infrared. Camera also includes a built-in covert microphone for audio pickup. It achieves this by switching from Color to Black & White imaging when the light level drops below 1 lux.
